TeraMundi offers grant opportunities in the following ways:

  1. Funds to help in the purchase of yoga supplies for specific programs, or funds for administrative costs to develop and implement a wellness-based yoga program.

  2. Consulting from mentor yoga therapists to guide your specific program development.

Please note that we are not currently funding projects.  When the fund is available, we will post availability on this site.  Thank you.

 How to Apply:

TeraMundi World Wellness offers a year-round grant funding program whereby a request for proposal can be submitted at any time during the year.

TeraMundi will evaluate each proposal based on the following criteria:

  • Does proposal offer a wellness based yoga service to an underserved population at risk?

  • Does proposal offer a sound program based upon yogic scientific and philosophical principles, as well as a level of expertise to fully serve that population?

  • Does proposal outline a plan of action for implementing and evaluating the program based upon measurable outcomes?

  • Does proposal clearly outline services and funds requested from TeraMundi?

 If Grant is Approved:

Upon receipt of funding or other services from TeraMundi, the grant recipient will be expected to:

  • Contact TeraMundi Executive Director within 2 weeks to discuss how the granting services will be implemented as well as effective dates.  This can be done via email.

  • Provide TeraMundi with any program materials developed, as well as samples of any advertising or public relations related to program.

  • During time period granted, 2 program reports will be submitted:

o       One at an approximate mid-point of program (date will be prior set)

o       One at termination of granting period (date will be prior set)

Each report will include the following:

o       Name of program, goals of program and population targeted.

o       How program was advertised, or how clients were selected.

o       How many people were served.

o       Class evaluations

o       Positive attributes of program

o       Aspects of program to be changed (if mid-term report), or how program might be better implemented in the future.  Photos, if possible – or video coverage.

Final Notes:

TeraMundi actively encourages all certified yoga instructors and therapists to submit a proposal to help launch an idea in the hopes of providing yoga to those populations at need, risk and underserved in the field of wellness.

TeraMundi is a new not-for-profit organization with the goal of becoming a viable positive entity to underserved populations across the world.

Funds are limited and programs are just beginning to be launched.  In these beginning stages, please do not expect full funding for large, expensive programs.  Instead, look for partial funding from TeraMundi as a seed towards the growth of your vision, and ours.  As your program progresses, you may request further funding.  We also expect that you will look to funding from other sources as well.
